Mother’s Day is May 12th. According to a Jewish Proverb, God could not be everywhere, so therefore he made mothers.
On this episode, we’re speaking to Jay White, artistic director of Quire Cleveland, an early music vocal ensemble based in Cleveland. On May 4 & 5th, they will be performing special concerts at Lakewood Congregational Church in Lakewood and St. Peter Catholic Church in Cleveland in tribute to the ultimate mother — the Virgin Mary. We’ll hear music from the group and from Jay about what to expect at the concerts.
We also feature some mother-inspired music from Erised, a family folk group from Chardon and British/Cleveland singer-songwriter, Guy Snowdon.
