All You Need is Love (and Food) is an evening of the Beatles and of philanthropy. Hosted annually by the Trinity Lakewood Community Outreach (TLCO), this event is meant to raise awareness and funds to relieve hunger in Lakewood. This organization is volunteer-driven and focused on delivering the basic needs of Lakewoodites including hot meals, groceries and fresh produce.
Hosted at Vosh on Saturday 4/27 @ 6:30pm, attendees can enjoy great music, delicious food and drinks, and most importantly the knowledge that your support is helping to feed hungry people in Lakewood. There is also plenty of fun to be had at the Beatles selfie station, auction and raffle opportunities, and musical entertainment from various local musicians. Performances and entertainment include Danielle Cherry Krimer, Desmond and Molly, the George Martins, Opus 216, Meg & the Magnetosphere, Rachel Shortt, Fae & Jim from On the Air, Brian Bacon, Mike Uva and the High Season. Lakewood resident Darren Toms will emcee this year’s event.
All You Need is Love and Food is a passion project that was launched in 2011 and has grown ever since. All proceeds will support the hunger relief efforts of TLCO. Guests are also asked to bring canned foods, preferably the following in-demand items: peanut butter, canned tuna, canned fruits/vegetables, cereal and beef stew.
General admission is $15 and can be purchased at the door.
