Thu 2/21 @ 6-10PM
At the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s monthly adult event, Think & Drink with the Extinct, you can go on an archaeological dig without ever leaving University Circle. Experts from the museum will lead visitors on a visit to Archaeological Site X, with real artifacts and Native-American items from each historical period — ranging from range from 12,000 BC to 1830 AD — on every table.
You’ll have a chance to talk with experts about Native groups that once inhabited what we now call “Ohio.” After an introductory background video, you’ll be invited to gather information about Site X, including what time period it was from, what it was used for and what time of year, with the answers, along with the site’s location, revealed at the end of the evening.
That’s the “Think” part of the evening. The Butcher and the Brewer and Western Reserve Meadery will be at the museum providing the “Drink” part.
Tickets for nonmembers are $10 in advance, $12 at the door (Members are free).
