Downtown Restaurant Week actually lasts for 11 days, and that’s a good thing. As the resident population of downtown Cleveland has grown, so have the culinary options, which have grown far beyond places for downtown workers to grab a bite for lunch.
Each of the participating restaurants will offer a fixed-price menu at a special price so you can taste some of their best offerings. More than 50 restaurants will be serving these special meals for lunch, brunch and dinner. Participants include legacy establishments and brand-new bistros; you can eat your way from the Warehouse District, down the length of East 4th Street, to Playhouse Square and even beyond, trying Italian, Asian, Spanish and Lebanese cuisines, BBQ and steakhouses. And after eating, you can vote for your favorites to win a Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Award.
There’s also a kickoff party in the Arcade Thu 2/28, with cooking demonstrations and food from two dozen restaurants. Tickets are $35-$100.
