While much of the mainstream media glosses over environmental issues as boring, compared to the latest incoherent Trump tweet, climate change and environmental degradation are among the most serious issues we face.
The documentary film, Living in the Future’s Past, looks these issues in the face and asks views, “What kind of future would you like to see?” Produced and presented by Jeff Bridges, the movie features prominent scientists and authors looking at our natural ecosystem, how and why humans have impacted it, and what that might mean for Earth’s — and humankind’s — future. There’s also spectacular photography.
“We have the keys to move into the future wisely,” says Bridges. “Let’s explore this together.”
It will have a one-time screening at the Capitol Theatre as part of their documentary series. Admission is $9.75 for adults, $8.75 for students, and $7 for seniors and children.
