Sewers might not sound like the most exciting subject for an educational workshop. But if you care about the environment and protecting northeast Ohio’s greatest asset, its access to a supply of clean water right in our backyard, you will likely find Sewer University, a two-hour workshop presented by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) fascinating.
Taking place at the Museum of Natural History in University Circle, the evening will cover the history of sewers and how they developed, and the advances in sewer systems and what to expect in the future. It’s an introductory-level event suitable for anyone who wants to know more abut how our sewer system works.
There’s a $5 registration fee, which includes light refreshments and free parking.
