You could OD on The Wizard of Oz this weekend in northeast Ohio.
After taking in the Wizard of Oz festival in Macedonia Friday 9/29-Sun 9/30, head over to the Akron Civic Theatre for MadCap Puppets’ production of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, part of its Family Series.
The Cincinnati-based touring ensemble will bring their puppets and actors to the stage in this production which tells the classic story in an accessible and entertaining manner. Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for age 5-12 and free for kids 4 and under.
