The Ingenuity Festival keeps on chugging along, getting bigger and better at its permanent home at the Hamilton Collaborative where it hosts an array of indoor and outdoor performances, displays and activities.
This year’s theme is FuturePast (no, this doesn’t mean you should complain about why it’s no longer taking place on the bridge!), looking to Cleveland’s industrial past, its tech future and its long, rich history as an arts center.
There’ll be vendors to browse, games to play, interactive exhibits to explore, art to admire, more than 100 performances from music to comedy to burlesque to dance to watch, and local innovators and makers to chat with. In every corner of the building, something surprising might confront you.
One-day tickets are $5; a weekend pass is $10. Kids under 12 are free. Be warned: some of the later evening entertainment is adults-only, but there will be warnings posted. There’s still plenty for kids to do!
