Fri 4/20 @ 8PM
As with so many bluegrass (and blues) musicians, mandolin player Sierra Hull was a prodigy, performing onstage at the Grand Ole Opry with Alison Krauss when she was just 11, signing to major Americana/folk indie Rounder Records when she was just 13 and releasing her debut album, Secrets, for the label in 2008, when she was 16.
She followed it with Daybreak in 2011 and 2016’s Weighted Mind, produced by Bela Fleck, in 2016. In the meantime, she attended Boston’s Berklee College of Music to put her talent on even firmer footing.
She’ll be performing at Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Happy Days Lodge. Tickets are $28-$33.
