Northeast Ohio artist Gloria Plevin, who works in pastels, acrylics and watercolors, paints intimate scenes of daily life influenced by Impressionism. Her 50-year output includes landscapes, gardens and glimpses of people at home doing famliar things: reading, playing games, relaxing in a comfortable chair.
A retrospective of her work is currently on display at ARTneo at 78th Street Studios in Gloria Plevin: A Life in Art. Gallerist/curator William Busta will host a talk with the 83-year-old artist at ARTneo. It’s free and open to the public.
