Musical talent — or at least, a passion for music — is often passed along in families. While Chuck Auerbach, father of Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, worked at other jobs including drum rehab, forestry and antiques dealing, he’s had a lifelong love of music. Late in life, that led to him performing, perhaps inspired by his son’s success. He has been writing songs since 2001 and singing since 2015.
He’ll be bringing his six-piece Chuck Auerbach Band at the Beachland Tavern where the rockin’ Ray Flanagan and the Authorities will open. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
