Author Maria Semple, following in her father’s footsteps, got her start in writing as a screenwriter for TV shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Mad about You, Arrested Deveopment and Ellen. She moved on to publishing novels, starting with 2008’s This One Is Mine, followed by Where’d You Go, Bernadette, and Today Will Be Different.
Semple will speak at the Maltz Performing Arts Center as part of the author series co-sponsored by the Cuyahoga County Public Library and Case Western Reserve University. Tickets are $30.
