Fri 3/30-Sat 3/31 @ 10AM-5PM
Just in time for Easter, the Great Lakes Science Center is hosting its EGGSperiment weekend where eggs are the focus of a series of experiments and demonstrations. Learn about the structure of an egg, why its shaped the way it is and how to protect an egg from a 62-foot drop. Run an egg obstacle course, balancing a fragile object on a spoon, or try to blow an egg-shaped bubble.
There will be non-egg things to do as well, including building with LEGOs, using recycled materials to make a kite and see if it stays aloft or falls to earth, and learning about the science of sound by “making music using colorful play dough.” Oh-KAY.
Activities take place throughout the day at various locations in the museum. All are free with regular admission which ranges from $13.95-$16.95.
