The Parkview Nite Club in Gordon Square ended its regular music schedule last year. But one event was just too popular to abandon: its annual reggae brunch with Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band. It seems like a lot of the band’s many fans need an injection of their sunny reggae music as protection against the midwinter cold.
And while music isn’t the Parkview’s thing anymore, it’s enhanced its menu by bringing aboard chef Joseph Zegarac who operated Chow Chow in Lakewood. Last April, he brought his southern-style comfort food menu to the Parkview kitchen. So there’ll be both music and food to chase away the chill.
