Bluegrass multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter Molly Tuttle is only in her mid 20s, but she already has an impressive record of accomplishment. She’s been performing since she was 11, and made an album of duets with her father when she was 13. She recorded several additional albums with her father and brother, and performed with a female bluegrass/jazz/folk group the Goodbye Girls while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston.
But she really stepped out on her own after moving to Nashville in 2015, forming her own band and releasing a seven-song EP Rise under her own name in 2017.
Check out this rising bluegrass/folk performer at Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Doors open at 7:30pm, music starts at 8.
