Herb Ascherman has been known as one of Cleveland’s top photographers for decades, as well as a promoter of photography and other photographers in the galleries he’s had over the years.
He’s also an avid photography historian and sometime educator, so when he gives a talk its well worth catching. He’ll be doing an illustrated talk, sponsored by the Beachwood Photo Group, at the Beachwood Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, talking about the Photo League of New York City and the origin of street photography.
