PlayhouseSquare launched a summer of activities outside on its U.S. Bank Plaza with a Backyard Bash featuring music by Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band. An all-ages crowd ate food, danced up a storm and even spread out a blanket and played cards, while children wandered onstage and even joined the band in some drumming. It was just the first of a series of concerts, dances and other activities that will be going on the several times a week all summer long.
