Those who missed Pride in the CLE on Public Square earlier this month have a second show at showing their rainbow colors. The longtime Cleveland Pride, which was cancelled at the last minute last year, is back with a full day of events.
It starts with the parade at noon, which proceeds to East 9th Street as revelers continue to the usual Voinovich Park location for a day of entertainment (including 90s dance pop icon Taylor Dayne and the always popular drag queen stage), speakers (including the Rev. Ken Chalker of University Circle Methodist Church and Steve Dettelbach, Democratic candidate for attorney general who, unlike the current AG, won’t spent tax dollars fighting against LGBT rights), food, vendors, a teens area and information, as well as the chance to just enjoy the lake breezes.
