Thu 5/18 @ 8PM
The final concert in a yearlong series called Cleveland Greats, curated by jazz bassist Aidan lank, honors vocalist Evelyn Wright, who has been performing jazz, R&B and pop in local venues for more than 30 years. She’s been a regular performer at the Tri-C JazzFest and collaborated with most of the area’s top musicians. She’s also toured and performed for audiences that included Rosalyn Carter, Colin Powell and Oprah Winfrey.
The Bop Stop show will feature Wright talking about her career and performing some of her favorite music, backed by Plank, drummer Dan Fernandez and pianist Joe Hunter. Admission is $15.
