Local indie-rock artist and guitarist for popular local “cinematic pop” band The Modern Electric, Holden Laurence releases his debut solo album, Wild Empty Promises, at Beachland Tavern. Drawing influence from 1980s post-punk and new wave, Laurence’s songwriting carries you adrift with the solemn tones of vintage synthesizers and guitar.

The show features special guests Bad Hounds and John’s Little Sister. Admission is $10.
