Nighttown brings another up-and-coming jazz vocalist to Cleveland, when Nicole Henry performs there with the Robert Hubbard Trio.
Originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, she headed south to the University of Miami, where she launched her career with her debut album, The Nearness of You, in 2004. Since then her soulful jazz vocals have attracted increasing attention as she’s released seven more albums and performed at major jazz venues and festivals around the globe, with a repertoire that includes traditional and modern jazz, blues and contemporary standards and the Great American Songbook.
