New Ghosts presents Bhutanese guitarist Tashi Dorji with percussionist Tyler Damon for a night of improvised music at Mahall’s. Through their improvisations “the music emerges from a place of mutual admiration and inspiration.” Having developed highly idiosyncratic approaches to their instruments, they arrive at unusual results on the otherwise familiar pairing of drums and guitar.

Mars Trio joins the bill with Alex Henry, Rick Kodramaz and Mat Wiseman. Admission is $10.
