Mulberry Creek Herb Farm in Huron been provided area gardeners and farmers with a huge variety of organic herbs for more than two decades. In the years since, they’ve added a specialty in fairy plants and miniatures, an annual June herb fair, a CSA, a farmers market, and this year, a garlic festival — reasons for their visitors to stop out multiple times per season.
And even though the planting and growing season is over, there’s one more reason: their 10th annual Christmas Open House, held inside their warm greenhouse. There will be vendors with coffee and tea, décor and gift items and workshops all weekend on wreath-making, growing herbs on your windowsill all winter, how herbs can help build your immunity and on Sunday morning, a farm-to-table cooking class. Lunch will be available from noon-2pm each day from the Vine & Olive Mediterranean Bakery.
