The Cleveland POPS Orchestra’s actual season kicks off on Sat 11/12 at Severance Hall with a tribute to James Bond.
But on Sat 9/3, listeners can enjoy the ensemble in an informal concert outdoors on the Elyria Town Square. Not that Cleveland POPS Orchestra concerts are staid affairs in any case, with conductor/clarinetist Carl Topilow a humorous and entertaining maestro. But this one is likely to be an easygoing evening of familiar, likable music. In case of rain, it’ll be held the following evening at the same time. It’s free.
