Story Club at the Bottlehouse Features Stories About Being “Schooled”

Story Club

Tue 9/6 @ 7PM

Story Club Cleveland’s events pivot around three featured speakers who are usually experienced performers, rounded out with three open mic slots which people in attendance can sign up for starting at 7pm (If more than three people sign up, the storyteller are chosen via a drawing).

This month’s star performers are Stephanie Super, Jeanne Li and Dan Ruminski, and the theme of the show is “schooled.” Each performer will offer a real-life story about a time they learned about something. The open mic participants can also tell a story on the theme — or not, if they choose. It takes place at the Bottlehouse Brewery in Cleveland Heights where you can enjoy their menu of libations or a taco from Zest Catering, while you mull over which performer to vote for to get their story published in Story Club’s magazine. It’s a $10 suggested donation.
