Tri-C JazzFest kicked off its free outdoor stage at PlayhouseSquare with lunchtime festivities that featured stilt walkers, jugglers, a polka band, roller derby girls and line dancing pink elephants, among other things. Then, on the side stage, the dozens of high school and junior high students who have been participating in the annual JazzFest camp performed for an appreciative crowd.
