He’s at it again. Clevelander Gary Pearlman, who also goes by the name Dr. U.R. Awesome, will attempt to break more two Guinness World Records for his legendary soap bubble blowing. One will be an attempt to blow the largest bubble using only his two hands. Then he’ll try to break his own record for the Largest Free Floating Soap Bubble Created Indoors.
He’ll be making both attempts back to back at 11am inside the Cleveland Botanical Garden. People are welcome to come cheer him on, watching his attempts from outside the Garden.
That evening, Dr. Awesome will be hosting Bubblepalooza from 6-9PM at Wade Oval during the free weekly Wade Oval Wednesday. He’ll be joined by San Diego Bubble Meister Mark Kaufman, so there will be a spectacular display of large bubble blowing. University Circle Inc. president Chris Ronayne will be presenting Awesome with a proclamation honoring his two current Guinness World Records titles. Come enjoy the music of Cleveland’s symphonic indie rockers Seafair and catch an amazing display of bubble-blowing prowess as well.
