Just in time for Safe Boating Week, the Cleveland Metroparks conducted a “waterbreaking” ceremony and launched their new Water Taxi service, allowing visitors to cross between the East and West Banks of the Cuyahoga River for $2 a day, with unlimited trips.
CoolCleveland spoke with Captain Michael Bobincheck as he prepared to shove off on his inaugural voyage across the River.
Dogs and bikes are welcome, and the Water Taxi is conveniently located near the Music Box Supper Club on the West Bank, and next to Coastal Taco by the RTA stop on the East Bank, and both are connected to the Towpath Trail.
