MOCA Cleveland recently hosted a “silent disco,” an event where dancers are issued a set of wireless headphones and each can listen privately to the music spun by the DJ — or by more than one DJ simultaneously, so that dancers can pick their own music. With no sound audible to onlookers, the quiet roomful of gyrating participants creates a striking visual impression. CoolCleveland’s Elisa Vietri was there to capture the action.
