For years, many Clevelanders have complained that the 100-plus-year-old West Side Market’s Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday days of operation were outmoded for contemporary lifestyles. Recently, the market announced that it would be adding Sunday hours from noon-6pm, beginning on Sun 4/3.
If the crowds thronging the both the inside market and the outside produce aisles are any indication, this experiment was a huge success. While not all vendors opted to be open, the vast majority were, offering the usual range of food products from meat to salsas to pasta to pastries to fresh brewed coffee that the market has become famous for.
