Fri 2/5
This month’s Walk All Over Waterloo featured all the fun you expect from this monthly event and more. Jen Craun’s spectacular print show at the Maria Neil Art Project attracted another crowd and more sales; more people stopped in at Waterloo Arts to check out Fandom 216, enjoy a drink and talk sports; and bands from previous Lottery Leagues played a benefit at the Beachland for the new Lottery League coming up in April. Art-making businesses and galleries Ink House, Satellite Gallery, Praxis, Brick and Article were open for visitors, while storefronts staged impromptu art shows. Even on the street there was activity, as percussionists played instruments made of salvaged parts on the E. 156th plaza, augmenting their performance with fire.
