Tue 12/29 @ 7PM
Local singer/actress Debi Lewin is known around town for the many projects she’s been involved in, both in theater and music. Along the way, she’s acquired many talented friends, and she’s brought the together for an evening at Nighttown she’s dubbed “The Debi Lewin Variety Show.” They include fellow veterans of the area scene as well as rising performers.
Among the veterans are her brothers Ricky and Dennis — the latter known as the keyboard player and songwriter behind popular ’80s Cleveland band Beau Coup —Poptarts members Julie Matthew and Laurie Angie, and keyboard player vocalist Rich Spina, who made his mark with Cleveland’s Love Affair back in the ’70s and ’80s and now tours with Peter Noone. Among the young artists is actress/vocalist Kaley Voorhees (pictured), a young Clevelander who snagged the lead role in the Broadway production of Phantom of the Opera last year.
If you’re a fan of classic rock and pop, this evening offers a chance to hear some of the area’s most gifted singers and musicians all on one bill. Tickets are $20.
