It’s time for the 3rd annual Coventry Holiday Festival, and this year’s going to be bigger and brighter than ever! With favorite activities from years past and new additions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. This event is FREE with plenty to do for all ages.

“It’s growing every year,” says Angie Hetrick, executive director of the Coventry Village Special Improvement District. “The first year we did it, it was a big hit and we decided to make it one of our annual events. I always make sure to keep many of the elements from the first year — the movies, caroling and crafts — and expand on the popular attractions. Each year, we add one or two new activities to keep it fresh and add more fun!”

There will be photos with Santa and holiday crafts for the kids to enjoy. A showing of the movie Elf will play at 2pm in the Centrum Theater. The Gateway Heights Church is generoulsy treating moviegoers to complimentary popcorn and snacks.

Classical Revolution Cleveland will perform a concert at the Grog Shop. This showcase will be composed of original classical arrangements, including songs from Frozen, Charlie Brown Christmas and other holiday songs. Not only will your kids love it, but you adults will dig it too!

The Holiday Poets will be roaming the neighborhood streets, plus you can join in on community caroling! All carolers will receive free coffee or hot cocoa from Phoenix Coffee.

Lolly the Trolley will be looping between the Coventy, Cedar-Lee and Cedar-Fairmount areas from 4-8pm. Take a ride on the beloved Lolly, warm up, see the colorful lights, shop, dine and explore one of Cleveland’s historically rich and eclectic neighborhoods. All shops on Coventry will be offering great deals for everyone on your list!

New this year is your chance to win “Coventry Cash”. The cash machine will be set up from 12-4pm, blowing money for adults (only) to grab as much cash as they can in a 30-second timeframe. The “Coventry Cash” grabbed within that 30 seconds can be spent all over the neighborhood on 12/12 at participating locations.

As a holiday gift from the City of Cleveland Heights, parking is free all day long the day of the event. This includes all street parking, the garage and the lots – all day and night. No need to feed the meter…spend your quarters on gifts this season!
