Persistent rain may have cut the size of the crowd at this year’s Cleveland Garlic Festival at Shaker Square on Saturday (hopefully, they came on Sunday when the weather was nice), but there were still plenty of people sampling treats such as garlic fries and garlic ice cream (as well as food without garlic), stocking up on seed garlic to plant in their gardens and listening to a full lineup of local musicians.
Understandably, the most popular attraction seemed to be the chef demos which took place inside a big tent. That samples of the food being cooked were offered to watchers following the demos probably didn’t hurt either.
