Cleveland Pizza Fest is a three-day food and music festival at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, featuring pizza parlors from all over Northeast Ohio. Each pizza vendor will be selling sample-sized slices giving attendee’s the unique opportunity to try several different places.
Restaurants, parlors, and mom & pop shops are being offered the opportunity to bake the pizza recipes that make them rise to fame. The pies will be judged in five categories: sauce, crust, toppings, people’s choice, and the best-of with trophies awarded for the best in each category. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top three vote-getters in each of the categories. The BEST pizza on the North Coast will be crowned!
Admission at the gate is $5 for adults, $1 for tweeners, & 12 and under are free. Discount-priced admission available through participating sponsor locations and pizza shops. Sunday, June 14 is Flag Day, so all current and former military personnel will receive free admission by showing their military ID. Admission covers all entertainment – continuous live music, motorcycle and classic car displays, 5K Pizza Run, entrance to the Sports Pavilion, attendance at the Pizza-Eating Contest and more.
The festival is Fri 6/12 @ 5pm – midnight; Sat 6/13 @ noon – midnight; Sun 6/14, @ noon – 9PM.
