Pecha Kucha Night Cleveland (PKN CLE) is partnering with the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland (MOCA) to kick off the summer on the museum’s public plaza. Join in for the 25th event Anniversary and pack Uptown to showcase some of the most creative and passionate people in the city of Cleveland.
The gates for PKN will open at 7:00PM, and presentations will begin promptly at 8:30PM. They will be finished by 10:30PM. Everyone is encouraged to show up a bit early and enjoy a beverage and conversation before the presentations begin. This will ensure you find a place to park and a seat.
In the event of rain, the event will be moved inside the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Pecha Kucha, Japanese for “the sound of conversation”, features a rapid succession of 10 speakers, each sharing ideas and thoughts on topics such as visual art, technology, architecture, food, film, photography and furniture design. Each presenter is permitted to show 20 images and each image is timed to 20 seconds per image, keeping the presentations moving forward quickly.
The event is free and open to the public.
