The nonprofit Lorain County kayak & paddle sports group LoCo ’Yaks offers both recreational opportunities and service to the community and the environment. Knowing that kayaking is best enjoyed in clean water surrounded by unspoiled nature, the group educates on marine debris prevention, organizes beach clean-up and participates in community events and outreach to teach people about what they can do to contribute to the maintenance and preservation of our watery landscape. And of course they get together to enjoy it!
