The Cuyahoga Weavers Guild will be holding the semi-annual weavers show , May 3rd-30th at the Beachwood Branch of the Cuyahoga County Library (25501 Shaker Blvd).
The Cuyahoga Weavers Guild is a 40-year plus guild that encourages the study and application of hand weaving items. In doing so, the guild explores several other fiber and textile subjects and techniques.
Weavers in the Guild are from all areas in Northern Ohio, including Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, Beachwood, North Olmstead and Chagrin Falls. The show will include hand woven works in many fibers, patterns and applications. There will be scarves, rugs and wearables, of which many items will be for sale. If you’d like to meet the talented weavers behind the beautiful creations, you will have the opportunity to do so on Sunday, May 3rd from 2-4PM and on Thursday, May 21st at 1PM, as they will be on-site at the library.
The show will be open for viewing during normal library hours.
