Fri 6/5 @ 9PM
Cleveland guitarist/vocalist Billy Sullivan has been out and about in bands in the Cleveland music scene since the ’70s. He’s played with bar workhorse like Doors tribute Moonlight Drive, with rock and roll showman Paul Pope, with the new wave-style Club Wow with ex-Dead Boy Jimmy Zero, and most notably, with pop-rockers Beau Coup who rocked the Cleveland airwaves big time in the ‘80s.
He also has had a duo with local guitarist/keyboard player Rich Spina, and together they have played with oldies acts like Gary Lewis & the Playboys and Peter Noone’s Herman’s Hermits.
As you can imagine, he commands quite a repertoire. He’ll be sharing it with fans during “An Evening with Billy Sullivan” at VFW post 1500 (38295 Pelton Road, Willoughby) when he’ll be playing music from the ’50s through today, undoubtedly including some of the songs he’s been associated with.
Tickets are $10; the show is a benefit for VFW charities. $10 donation to benefit VFW charities. Call 440-669-3495 for tickets.
