For nine years, Ann Sulak Thompson has maintained the website After the Gig, providing information about local clubs, bands and gigs, mostly classic rock and blues rock bands that appeal to older music fans who still like to rock like they did when they were younger.
To celebrate the occasion, After the Gig is hosting a 9th Anniversary Jam at Aces Grille in Middleburg Heights. It’ll open with a set by the house band featuring some of the area’s veteran players: guitarists Cy Sulak and Drew Doman, bassist Eroc Sosinski, drummer Jim “JR” Richley and keyboard player George Sipl. Afterward, guest musicians are invited to come up and play; bring sticks and your guitar. There’ll be free cake, and Ace Cleveland rock photographer Joe Kleon will be on hand to capture the occasion. After the Gig merchandise will be available for purchase as well.
There’s no cover.
