Even though he died 300 years ago, the operas of Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart never grow old. We all know The Marriage of Figero and The Magic Flute, but how about La finta giardiniera (“The pretend garden-girl”)?
Written in Mozart’s early days, the opera, which will be performed by Oberlin Opera Theater, gives a glimpse of his developing genius.
