Punch Brothers kicked off their new tour supporting their brand new album The Phosphorescent Blues, with a rousing and nearly-sold-out concert at the ethereal Finney Chapel at Oberlin College, the alma mater of 2004 Oberlin grad, guitarist and singer Chris Eldridge.
The Brothers participated in the first-ever American Roots Residency Fund, established by actor-comedian Ed Helms (a 1996 alum) at Oberlin College, doing workshops, master classes, lectures, composition sessions and time spent with Oberlin students learning violin, viola, bass, mandolin, banjo and other string instruments.
