Thu 1/1 @ 10 AM – 2 PM

Join your friends and neighbors and welcome 2015 at the much-loved New Year’s Day Pancake Breakfast on Thu 1/1 and eat for art.  Tommy’s Restaurant in Cleveland Heights has hosted a benefit pancake breakfast for Heights Arts since 2001, when Tom Fello first offered to help raise funds for the Coventry Arch, located at the intersection of Coventry Road and Euclid Heights Boulevard.

Pancakes, eggs, sausages, links, and vegetarian options will be served along with juices, coffee and tea for the admission of $10/adults, or $5/children age 12 and younger. Admission tickets are available at the door beginning at 9:45 a.m. In addition to the all-you-can-eat breakfast, diners have the opportunity to win a variety of gift certificates from local Heights Arts supporters, purchase a commemorative t-shirt or hand silkscreened poster by Zygote Press.

While waiting for a table, people can browse next door at Mac’s Backs 1820 Coventry Road. Half of all purchases will also be donated to Heights Arts. Ron the Flower Clown returns this year to entertain children of all ages with his unique balloon creations. Take-out pancake breakfast orders are also an option by calling 216.321.7757 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Heights Arts’ biggest fundraiser of the year, the New Year’s Day event provides support for community programming in visual, musical, and literary arts. The 15th Annual Tommy’s Pancake Breakfast is sponsored by Big Fun, Mac’s Backs-Books on Coventry and Tommy’s Restaurant.

For more information or to volunteer, call Heights Arts at 216.371.3457. Raffle tickets are also available in advance for entry at the Heights Arts gallery, 2175 Lee Road.
