You don’t want to miss Mr. Toad’s Mad Adventures at the Beck Center for the Arts. Seriously, with a synopsis like this, you can’t go wrong:
Mr. Toad is an eccentric but likable chap given to “crazes.” His latest craze involves motorcars. Unfortunately, he smashes them up as fast as he gets them. He even steals one for a wild ride over the countryside and ends up in prison! While imprisoned, his home is trashed and taken over by the weasels, but after serving his time, Mr. Toad and friends devise a clever scheme to recapture his home and save the day!
The cast is made up of 37 Beck Center students ages 6 – 19. Bring the family for a British-tinged comedy based on The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. The Beck Center production is directed by Russel Stich.
