Calling all Indiana Jones of the Cleveland area. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History will be holding a unique event allowing visitors to learn about history and the world around them through an everyday item — rocks.
By bringing in a fossil, mineral, or artifact, a Museum scientist will be able to identify the item and walk through the process of identification. This event is free with a museum admission or complimentary for museum members. The event includes a tour of the Seismic Observatory, take-home kid friendly craft, and the opportunity to get info on related clubs, field trips, and excavations. Great for kids or anyone interested in archeology.
