Guitarist Dan Wilson is one of the area’s younger, rising jazz talents. He graduated from Hiram in 2006, got his masters at Youngstown State University in 2009 and now teaches at Tri-C, as do many of the area’s best jazz musicians, in that school’s renowned music program.
He also fronts his own group, which has played at various area venues and released an album in 2012 called To Whom It May Concern.
Wilson will be playing at the Lockbottom Blues & Jazz Club aka Lock 4, the open-air space behind the Akron Civic Theatre, adjacent to Lock 3 Live.
