Guitarist/vocalist Max Stern apparently isn’t busy enough with his punk rock band Signals Midwest, who are about to do a European tour in September. He’s got an acoustic project on the side with his brother called Meridian. And they’ve got a new LP, The Cathedral, the follow-up to 2112’s Aging Truths. It shows off a quieter and more personal side of Stern.
The record, on Youth Conspiracy, also Signal Midwest’s label, will be available on blue vinyl and red vinyl. You can pick up a copy when the band plays its release show at the Grog Shop. All Dogs, Runaway Brothers, and Dead Leaves are also on the bill.
