Cain Park’s 2014 season is drawing to a close. The brief (two-month) schedule has featured stellar headiners like Carolina Chocolate Drops, Judy Collins, Nickel Creek, and Tori Amos.
The last big-name artist to headline at Cain Park’s Evans Amphitheater is someone Clevelanders know well: Michael Stanley and his band the Resonators. He celebrates the 40th anniversary of the founding of the legendary Michael Stanley Band, and fans know he’ll play all the hits they want to hear — the songs they danced to on the lawn at Blossom Music Center back in the ’80s. But with another new album The Job out this year (after all this time, Stanley keeps ’em coming), he’ll undoubtedly have a few new things too.
