Fire/Provenance Chef Doug Katz Hosts Demo @CBGarden

This week’s guest chef at the Cleveland Botanical Garden’s all-summer-long weekly Chefs in the Garden comes from just up the street. Doug Katz is best known for his fire food and drink at Shaker Square, which has become one of the area’s most celebrated restaurants for its unfussy approach to quality food preparation and its devotion to sustainably grown and raised local ingredients.

Katz now also runs the upscale, fine-dining restaurant Provenance and the adjoining Provenance Café at the Cleveland Museum of Art and the chic little Katz Diner Club and Bar on Lee Road.

He’ll be on hand to demonstrate some of his favorite cooking tips and share samples with the crowd. These events are popular so call the garden and reserve at 216-721-1600, X100.
