NE Ohio’s Patrick Sweaney Brings His Music Home to @Mahalls20Lanes, Kent Heritage Fest

Wed 7/2 @ 9PM

Sat 7/5 @ 4PM

When Massillon’s Patrick Sweaney started playing out around northeast Ohio, he got pegged as an acoustic blues guy. And blues is definitely a core piece of his music. But he’s grown his musical territory to encompass full-band rock, soul and country, among other things. He’s also grown his geographic territory to take in touring across the U.S., as well as Canada and Europe, where they played this spring.

His latest release, Close to the Floor, recorded in Nashville, came out last July, but he and his band are still out touring behind it. He’ll be at Mahall’s 20 Lanes Wednesday. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 day of show. Then on Saturday, he’ll be back in Kent where he got his first toehold in northeast Ohio, at the Kent Heritage Festival, where he’ll play on an outdoor stage at the Zephyr Pub.
